what to expect

Prepare to spend an hour to an hour and a half with me on your first visit. I will gather information about your past medical history as well as what has brought you to seek treatment.

I will use Chinese medical diagnostics including checking of the pulse and observing the tongue to understand what is going on with your energy. Then we will proceed to the acupuncture treatment itself. This will incorporate the use of acupuncture needles and a mindfulness approach to address what arises in the moment within the body, mind, and spirit.

Often, I will remain in the treatment room unless rest and silence is needed.

special instructions

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be easily pulled above your elbows & knees. Please make sure you have eaten a light meal or at least a snack within two hours of your treatment.

Cancellation/

Change Policy

Acupuncture Plus is committed to providing all patients with exceptional care. When one patient cancels without giving enough notice, another patient is prevented from being seen.

Please call 505.603.2005 by 3 p.m. on the day prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations.

To cancel a Monday appointment, please call our office by 3 p.m. on Friday. If prior notice is not given, you will be charged $50 for the missed appointment.
